  WTBTS False Teaching re Why Adam Ate Fruit...

  to the household of god, israel, and those who go with... may you all have peace!.

  according to the understanding and teachings of the wtbts, adam ate from the tree of knowledge of good and bad because... eve had eaten and was going to die and adam, who had been by himself for a long time before eve came along, chose to die with eve - he loved her so much and did not want to live without her or be alone.

  sounds good, doesn't it?

  How many actual witnesses were at the scene to record the event,if there are any up in heaven please come forward now.

  i added a couple of questions i would like to know the answers to in a topic that has now become buried on the back-list, so as they haven't been picked up i am trying again by starting a new topic.

  (if the forum administrator is reading this, would it not be better to use the common system that if new posts are added to old topics, they jump to the head of the list?

  The crazy mixed up Witnesses do indeed work for the Government, in the civil service no less, and I know of one who is in good standing within the cong. who actually went to Buckingham Palace for his reward and received an OBE from her Majesty no less. I guess it was sanctioned from Brooklyn.The Order of The British Empire is no worse than have a UN library card it seems.

  But if we ever come under attack from a foriegn enemy you can be sure they wiil wave the neutrality card.

  The North American Indian nations and the 1914 prophecy

  the witnesses claim that nation shall rise against nation prophecy happened in 1914.but if you were from one of the many north american indian nations during the previous century could you not claim that in their world it applied to them and wasn't there hundreds of tribes and nations being attacked by larger stronger nations ?

  if those days were not cut short extermination would ensue with more nations involved.we remember 1914 as the start of millions being slaughtered but in the world of the native americans wasn't the previous century just as wicked..

  Does the society own gold bullion

  during an economic down turn wealthy investors put their faith in gold.does anybody know of a strongroom at bethel containing gold bars.you know just for an emergency in case they have to go underground during the great persecution.or do they just rely on stocks, shares and property.

  they don't put all their eggs in one or two baskets do they?

  just thought of another question.who will get all the gold and silver in the new world and what will it be used for?.

  You certainly do a brilliant job with these comments and I as someone who has taken communion in a mainstream church find it wierd that the majority who are supposed to be the followers of Christ do not partake.It's as if they are rejecting the sacrifice, add that to the fact that it is a commandment to his disciples from Jesus to keep doing this seems totally anti Christ.The rank and file should protest loud and long until they are allowed to fully partake.

  The answer to that is I don't know .I just throw my pebbles in and hope the ripple reaches the far side of the bank. I would be happy if just one person was dissuaded from the mad cult but who knows what effect, if any ,the ripples have out there in the big wide world.

  I reckon if I spend as much time here as I gave to the Borg the balance will have been redressed.

  after several years 'out' i can't be the only one who still gets a bit pissed off to hear 'oh so clever' apostates slagging off jw's for being dumb, stupid and worse.

  grow up!

  the beliefs of jehovah's witnesses are certainly stupid but then i'd say the same for all christian belief just as many of you might condemn my atheistic, evolutionary postion as being nonsense.

  Many are not stupid just misguided.Many of us go to certain people for advice such as doctors ,lawyers,builders ,car mechanics etc; It's just the same with religion many of us thought that the Jehovah's Witnesses were expert religious advisors and unfortunately to our cost we found out eventually that what the Witnesses advised was a load of old cobblers.

  As they say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

  Prominet elder goes against the society's advice on education!!!

  i just wat to inform you that i have from absolutely trustworthy sources that rolf furuli (one of the absolutely best known and most recpected elders in norway, and altso a scolar known as a hard core 607-apologist among opposers) did have a local needs speech last week (or maybe the week before) where he went directly against the watchtower anti college education pollicy and warmly recomended all the young ones in the congregation to go on and get them self educated.. i wonder for how long ha can keep his position??

  if he gets the boot wee'll se a theocratic earthquake here in norway..
